Cere Junda and Greez Dritus
from Jedi: Fallen Order
Version 1.0: Cere Junda v1.pdf
This is an older deck idea I first stared working on in mid 2021, and originally conceived of as a sort of analogue to the original Hasbro Anakin/Padme deck. Since then, I've kept the basic concept but centered it around a different mechanic - big attacks that require the major character to (largely) give up defending for a turn.
The deck centers on Cere's 2x big attacks (RAGE), with most of the remaining cards supporting these 2 cards. RAGE starts at an A4, but can be reliably raised to the A10-A11 range with Greez's special cards (IT'S NOT GAMBLING and I'M A POSITIVE GUY). The drawback is that RAGE prevents Cere from defending with basic combat cards for a turn. But there are several ways to mitigate the penalty: either by using Cere's single power defense (FORCE SHIELD), recovering the damage on the next turn (REGRET), or letting Greez move Cere to any empty square on the board (THE MANTIS).
Greez, meanwhile, is essential as a support for Cere's attacks, and despite his weak basic cards cannot be ignored by an opponent. Otherwise, his additive cards (GAMBLING and POSITIVE GUY) will greatly increase Cere's and Greez's movement and make RAGE almost unstoppable. And his dual A7s (MANTIS) give him some reliable damage-dealing and movement, to keep him and Cere out of trouble.
Have fun, and let me know what you think!
